Good alarm?
So I am looking for a good alarm system for my car. I know my car looks like its a police car, but I imagine someone is gonna realize that its not one of these days... as well, an alarm helped my dad spot a hit and almost run outside of our house one day with a car of his (for those who think the audio part is useless).
I'm looking for something that integrates
Remote shutoff
Remote keyless entry (9c1'* don't come with that feature or passlock, thank god)
Noise
Possibly door open sensors as well as vibration, window entry sensors
...And thats about all I can think of.
Anyone have any recommendations?

All alarm manufacturers generally list all of the options that you are looking for as general options. What happens above an beyond that are other features like 2 way paging, remote start and other open channels for upgrading and greater range. If you are trying to get just a basic alarm, Id go to any reputable audio shiop in town. there is nothing to overthing when it comes to them. Hell, DEI practically bought all of them out so they are pretty much all the same anymore (as long as you dont buy a bulldog or any cheap brand like that). If you want to improve on a basic alarm, you can always add more sensors! BLACK FRIDAY IS BACK BITCHES!!!!!!!

Cool I was really wondering what brand to get, but since DEI has bought most of their competitors, theres not really much of a difference for better or for worse, huh?

dude they own cliffard and autopage. I think crime stopper too. Imagine how it must feel to say to yourself "man theres a bunch of other alarm and remote start brands out there... I think I will just buy them all"..... lol! so yeah dude. Its all directed. The only thing that you really need to consider is what you want out of your system. You can add more shock sensors or motion sensors. a good strategically placed LED will serve a great purpose as well. Let me know if you have any more questions

Does DEI own VIper? If so, are all the sensors and such interchangeable between the brands?
Found this system with pretty much all the basic functions (keyless entry, alarm, remotestart), but it might not have everything I want as far as sensors. What do you guys think?

Ok..being in the city.. take a look at viper 5902.
1 mile range
Illuminated interior with unlock
Remote starter
Two way communication to transmitter
Plenty of other add ons and options.

go to the alarm/starter section of your link and do a compare on the two.
Biggest things I see are two way remote instead of one way and the 1 mile range vs .. best of luck.
