They are nice i was looking at decks tonight and i actually bought one. I was considering a panasonic, it had Mp3 and red lights to boot, but no funky screen, although thats not important to me, however it cost a little more, and didn't have as good of a tuner as the one i bought. Plus i've used this exact one myself when i installed it in a 91 firebird. The panasonic i could afford with mp3 had blue lights, although some nice nice blue lights on that too, one spanning the bottom of the unit letting it out the bottom. If the lights weren't red in the car i woulda bought it

RFX 9000 MP3/CD player

It has wireless remote capability and i'm 99% sure i can get this adapter http://www.virtualoutlook.net/Products/steer.htm
and it will work with this HU. If not, well i still have some neat lights on my steering wheel at night!

Let us know bout the hook up for steering wheels and such.. I may go that route.. but still want to keep the stock HU for I dont' want to get my car broken into again.. or at least till I have done the subs , then the alarm .. then I will consider the plain view stuff like HU

It might be a couple months before that, i told my parents this wa the only thing i would get for the car besides a bra for protection on the highway and too keep my immaculate front end immaculate, not to mention those damn college parking lots i'll be in. This thing has a removable faceplate with a nice carrying case for the headunit, They have some very nice hiding headunits as well. I know blaupunkt has a special sytem where if the card you have like a credit card isn't inserted it doenst work no matter what. If you get your deck stolen but you have your faceplate then it'* not expensive thing to replace, and ALWAYS have a quality head unit before subs....
