Default TV amp turn on

I need to trigger a turn for my TV amp when I turn the TV on. Now here'* the catch. It'* in a conversion van and its a home 20" LCD TV (does have a 12 volt power input though) so what it does when power is applied is go into standby mode. You have to hit power on the TV or remote to turn it on. The amp is already turned on via the in dash cd player. So I get a pretty big turn on thump, and I'd like to change that. Any ideas? I'm kinda stumped.

I really dont know that you can do much about that because it is probably set from factory to go to standby mode when power is applied. Does your moniter go into standby when you plug into a regular wall outlet?

you can always change a TV to turn on when power is applied, it should be a setting in one of the menus

if there isnt a setting in the user menu, there shoud definately be one in a service menu, but 90% of TVs that i have dealt with had it in the user menu. If you cant find anything, im sure a quick search on google and a bit of research you should be able to find it in the service menu, just be careful what you change when your in there!!!
