I attached the wire from the Deck that says AMP on it to the positive end of the Amp, then i tried a bunch of diffrent grounds..when my amp comes on a red light is suspossed to light up on it, BUT it wont, its like there is no power getting to my amp....I tried about 5 diffrent grounds..in the process my battery went dead! so i had to jump the car to get it to start while it was running i then tried the amp again..still nothing!...whats up with this!

The signal from the deck, goes to the remote turn-on on the amp. It tells it when the deck has signal. You run a cable from the batter to the power hookup.

You can power this up via the power antenna (if you have one) or put it on a switch.

Oh it'* insane, all subwoofer enclosures and systems are different. There is no, one way to do it. If they are pointed at you, you get the hardest hitting, i know that, otherwise my mind is still boggled about it.

how about making a hole in the sub box on the rear? say 2.5 to 3 inchs in diameter? I know most sub boxes have this but my sub box was only 35 bux and its 100% enclosed.

some sub'* are designed for a sealed box other are designed for a ported or bandpass
the best think i can tell you is stick with what the man. recommends

as for which way to face to box?
with my experince i have found out that face the box towards the front of the car it'* more distorted then anything else

face towards the bacl of the car for best results
thats goes with any sub
but thats just personal perfence

Dont cut a hole, because the box isn't designed for a port. Ports also require tubes. Many subs are designed for ported or bandpass applications, though.
