Is my Bose amp still working?

I was at AutoSound today and this one guy told me that if I switched to aftermarket HU that my stock bose amp is no longer working. I am pretty sure that it still works... but I could be wrong... :?:

i've heard that if you have stock amps and upgrade to and aftermarket headunit you need to run a new remote wire to the amp.

Oh yeah... I ran the wire to the remote turn on... I have a post where I explained how I did it and evertyhing. I think its on... but some guy was trying to tell me otherwise, so I figured someone here would know.

P.S. thanks for the quick response!! :D

i'm sure its fine then..but you'd probably get more watts out of the stock deck. but i guess i'm not sure what the specs are on stock bose amps

my stock bose amp still works, even though i have a after market Head unit,
Although i still have all original speakers, all i had to do was connect the power antenna cord to the AMP 0.3A Connection on the back of my headunit.

You get so much better sound with just an amp swap over speaker swap anyway. So I would recomend getting a better amp(s).

I wish I could, but I am still saving up for stuff that I would like to get a lot more than a new amp for my speakers...
