Default Rear deck rattle, and component system recommendations

First question is... how do I stop the rear deck from seizuring onto the rear window? It rattles so bad that the tint is starting to peel off where it happens. I ended up taking foam tape to the plastic pieces around the center brake light piece in the back to stop it from rattling. Now the only two things that rattle is that rear deck, and the trunk rattles on the seal strip near the rear window.

Second question... any recommendations on a component system? It will be for heavy rock/metal (As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Eighteen Visions, along with some mainstream stuff). Can you get adapters to get a bigger mid speaker in there than a 5.25 without custom modding? I'd imagine a bigger mid would allow for greater range, and I like to listen to music LOUD. Grand Marquis' had infinitys that got pretty loud, and my first car had a stock 10 speaker JBL system that absolutely could not be beaten. Could turn it up all the way, your ears would hurt before it started to distort.

You could add panel clips to the rear deck to help hold it down. If your real cheap, I've seen people stuff a wedge between the rear deck and the rear window to keep it from rattling all over the place.

Yes, there are 5.25 to 6.5 adapaters available. But... with the adapters, I'd be concerned about fitment issues, and everything clearing the door panel. It'* been a while since I've pulled doors in a mid 90'* Bonneville, but like every other GM, there'* not a ton of space to mess with, assuming that there are external brackets, and the don't bolt right up to the metal.

However, if they do bolt directly to the metal, a saw generally works pretty well to fit some 6.5'* there.
