Default best way to run 4G power cable?

what'* the best way to run 4 gauge?? I know BonneMeMN posted a couple pics.

Last time I ran it underneath the car and drilled a hole through the spare tire well. I'd rather get inside the car, then I can do it from there.

i guess i should have worded my question better. Basically getting through the firewall is what I'm having trouble with. Once inside the car I'll have no problem.

thanks

u can do it like this but there may be easier ways. take off the piece of decorative plastic covering on the passenger side on the firewall, and remove the airbag sensor box or whatever u dont have to take it off just take off one screw and feed it through but be very careful, then take out ur glove box and tke off the piece of plastic under the dash and glove box and feed wire through

You could also run it down the drivers side. You will use a little bit more in wire running it this way.

Just curious, what would you use 4 gauge wire for??? That'* heavy duty stuff there! Isn't most car wiring 12 or 10 gauge at most?

Ahh...I gotcha. So that must be a direct run off the battery then? Or would you direct run from the alternator?
