The majority of my install

This is my first posting here. I just bought an 04 Bonneville a few weeks ago- a big upgrade from the 96 Windstar I had  I could only tolerate the factory system for so long (about a week to be exact). So I threw in a Kenwood CD/MP3/WMA/AAC receiver, MTX Thunder 8000 6.5" components powered by a 100wx2 Lightning Audio amp. I need to add a sub, but I don't know if that will happen any time soon. I want to fiberglass a box into the corner of the trunk, but the weather in Iowa is getting too cold for that now. :(

Alright, now for some pics

Hopefully everyone can view that. If not, here are a few of the pics.

Let me know what you think. If you've got any other ideas for a sub box that would use minimal space, do tell.

Nice looking install, good work

Thanks guys. That kit is a Metra 99-3301 that I picked up locally. Only downfall is that there is no provision to fasten it to the dash in the Bonneville, since the factory radio uses clips attached to the deck. So, as you saw in my pics, I used zip ties to secure it. They work really well.

Oh, and I uploaded my pics to a different host that should show up now.

Good work! It is definately a trip installing a radio into a 2000+ Bonneville. ;)

Yeah, definitely not a simple replacement like I was used to. The guy at the shop where I bought my kit and harness was telling me to stick with the factory radio, and that they would not install the receiver in my car. I didn't ask them to do anything, but they were pretty blunt about not doing another Bonneville.
