Looking to install subs and amp.

I remember when i had my oldsmobile intrigue i had the bose stock sound system, and in order to put subs and an amp in i had to put a radio converter thing in. A sound system store installed all this junk in for me.

Now i know that if i wanted to put an aftermarket deck in i would of had to replace every single speaker because of the BOSE.

Now what im asking is, is the MONSOON sound system that i have in my 02 Bonne just like the BOSE where i have to replace all my speakers to put in an aftermarket deck or subs?

Are you sure its Monsoon? I thought they only put Bose in the bonnis but i'm no expert

yah im pretty sure, i looked in the trunk, and i could see the factory amp and it said MONSOON in big letters across it.

IMO if you are goin to replace all the spaekers anyways might as well just redo it all by doin the HU and speakers and pull out the stock stuff. you can only get so much outta the stock sounds and i also thought ford products had the monsoon sounds, but maybe GM just used the amps or something. hope it goes good for ya though mang
