One man'* Trash....
Is this man'* treasure....
I've commented prior that I've gotton a pair of 15" dumpster drivers
and have already repaired them....
Used a crossover from a DBX subwofer that I've dropped a
plate amp into....
Spent 15 bucks on MDF.... around 20 for paint - glue - hardware etc...
2 hours of design and so far around 6 hours of construction....
I'll post the product when I get photo'*
(if'in you are interested)

Cool looking box
Are you still able to use the rear pass through with that design? It looks like it but its hard to tell?
Cant wait to see the pics and sound review.

yes the pass-thru is in tact...
Just cuz the kid'* love to play with it....
Skii'* are about the only thing I can think of for it'* use...
Perhaps a few 2x4'* but it'* about the most stupid GM
trick I've ever seen.... a 6x8 opening in the trunk go figure!
But the pass thru was a design requirement.
The drawing is a basic rough, the outer corners are 45'd
to allow the boot lid to actuate without contacting the box.
Had to work around the fuel filler on the driver side
so the bottom became a "wing"....
This was the best solution to fit a 17" diameter circle
in a 15" opening and avoid the odd shapes in the boot
for the fuel filler etc......
Kinda hard to do the volumemetrics with this polygon
shape and the "port'*" exit just below the pass-thru...
A buddy stopped in after I painted the box in flat black
and said with all the odd angles it looked like a
"stealth bomber" thus the stealth box....
Called it the "Q" box at first due to the slot port
and general shape of the innards.....
