simple question, can I do this without the adapter for the RCA cables?

good question I hooked this adaptor up to my 6x9'* and it convetered into and RCA input jack and from there ran it to my amp.Thats how I kept my factory in my Rivieria

as far as I know the simplest way to do what you want to is to get the output convertor like chubbyboy is talking about

pac has a piece i think its part number is sni-35 that is all you need to get the signal
