Thumbs up anyone know the color code?

I'm looking for the color code of the wires that go into the amp on a 2000 ssei with a Bose system.

I want to delete the rear factory amp & the 2 6x9'*

I bought a sub & amp. I want to cut into that factory amp harness & use the speaker leads and the remote turn on.

anyone know what'* what back there? or does anyone make a harness for this purpose?

thanks~

ok, maybe I should phrase this question a little different.

assuming the colors stay the same from the back of the radio all the way to the amp.

does anyone know the colors and polarity for the rear deck speaker wires?

this is what I yanked from the trunk today. I turned the radio on and used a light tester to determine which wires were the speaker wires...... between both plugs I found a total of 7 wires that had power

1 - one should be power of course

2- remote wire

3- speaker lead + or - even a negative polarity lead will provide some power

4- speaker lead + or -

5-speaker lead + or -

6- speaker lead + or -

7- not a clue

I can probably narrow the wires down by adjusting the radio balance & fade

and hopefully narrow the speaker wires down to 4 then all I need is the polarity....can that be found using a multi-meter by chance?

Thumbs up

Nothing like talking to myself,
anywho when I bought this car it came with two large factory service manuals and wouldn't ya know that plug was in there with all the proper color codes.

I will scan it later and and make a sticky friendly thread. on that note any other wiring diagrams- or any repair for the 2000 ssei I can scan also....just let me know
