I know I have seen a place that has a longer side battery post so I can connect an amp but I cant seem to find it now where can I buy one of these?

Will I just pull the original one out and use this to replace it or is there any thing else i will need to do?

I have used those before when I had a Buick Century. They work fine. And its all you would need. Minus, a loop connector on the cable to the post and most IMPORTANT, an inline fuse. 60amp or so should cut it unless you have some crazy amps.

You COULD get a dual post battery (both GM front and Dodge/Ford top post style). Thats what I did for my Lesabre. Makes it much much easier to boost the car then too if needed, can be trying sometimes to get booster cables on the puny little hex head on them GM front post setups. I went down that road mainly because I run 4 guage power, and my battery was near death when I got the car anyway so it kinda had to be done...
