Professor---

I've the complete diagrams in pdf including
the infamous radio pinout I've just verified
against my 2000 -

Rear amp integration unit
charging system
With & without amp
etc....

Need someplace to send it !
but am finishing up the doc'* to the install

By the way there should be a switched 12v
at your radio 3rd pin from right bottom row
verify this to be ign hot? Mine is not but I
have a non amp'd system and it only shows
on the diagram with the amplified system...

Also hit the wire that failed to have 12v switched
on it (yellow switched 12v on your gm07b adapter)
with the antenna enable wire from your new head
it powers the antenna booster...

Just read your previous post

Press UP on the center of the two plastic rivets above the guage cluster
remove said rivets
remove pocket/panel lower left steering column
grasp facia above air control cluster
pry up
unplug the tire pressure cluster
remove by rotating counter clockwise over steering wheel
careful of the steering tilt armature

Press in 4 metal tabs to release the head unit

You'r just about a week too quick for me
if I can get the time to do the SWI-X this weekend
and finish up the docs for this procedure.....
