Default Pioneer DEH-7700 upgrade

Installed the new stereo today, which is MUCH better, feature wise and looks, than the 6700 model. It also has a smaller remote, with far more features than the basic Pioneer remotes. The best part about the stereo is the circular toggle control that lets you use control everything from it. Kinda like the controls in a BMW. It also has about double the amount of OEL graphics displays that the other model did. Maybe triple. If I recall correctly, the 6700 had about 7 and this one has 4 of one type alone, and there are a shitload of others, some having varying displays. I mean, what do you like? We have dolphins swimming and diving, turtles, cars crashing, waves breaking, you can even see an output of your cars voltmeter. So the 6700 will be getting downgraded to a Ford Fusion.

You know what I have always liked about pioneer? they seem like they were created for the hard working average man that wanted to get the most for his money. Plus they are just so dependable. i even like their speakers! Not too big on their amps though

I was looking at getting an Alpine but they didnt offer much graphicswise that I would have gotten from Pioneer. I think this is my 7th Pioneer and they are pretty much self explanatory and easy to operate. The built in EQ also helps out alot because I like my highs high as hell. I only knew one guy who used a Pioneer amp and they didnt really let him keep them long enough to enjoy them lol

I do know that the spl world record was once held by a guy with 24 pioneer 12'* or somethin like that but his record was since broken by a guy with one 18" woofer with like 10,000 watts on it. Pretty insane honestly. Honestly, the next head unit I am gonna buy will be a nakamichi... Best radios on the market hands down. Nothin flashy about them but their abillity to reproduce music on a cd or mp3 player is absolutely uncanny!
