Has anyone heard Alumapro subs?

I don't know anyone who has them, but they come highly recommended. I am wondering if anyone here has them or has heard them. None of the shops around here carry them, so I have no listening opportunity. Thanks for the help.

They are a decent company. They dont really make anything that stands out, but they are ok for the price

ok i had alumapro achelmyys and i loved those subs to death 300 watts rms for single voice coil man i had them paired with a Xtatt A6001 amp and the knock louder than subs gettin push by more wattage
as for the IDMAXX they were design to compete and exceed with the JL W7 personally i love alumapros but i would get the IDMAXX's

I've never heard of them, but that doesn't mean they aren't any good. Just think, you'd be one of, if not the only person in your area to have them.

well around here there is only 2 dealers 1 is in milwaukee and the other is in chicago

Thanks for the response. I don't know if I can justify the price of an IDMAX (and neccessary wattage) for what I want my system to do. I think I'm going to try to find two 12" Alchemy MX's SVC 4ohm. GAMEOVER, is that the same model you used? I want to run them in sealed boxes in parallel off a PPI PCX-1250 with a cap. That would give them at least 250 clean watts apiece, I'm thinking more like 300 knowing PPI... Anyone have other recommendations for the kind of bass I'm looking for?

GAMEOVER Nov 14, 2004 01:53 PM

yes that the model i had and the same way i ran them in a sealed box you wont regret buying them

Man, I know what you mean about PPI. My amp is old (like, at least 7 years) and abused (not by me though  ) and it still pounds like you wouldn't believe.

I have a Alumapro sub

I purchase a BP 12, you should really look into these. Go to there website. I was running it off of my 4 channel amp with about 300watts and it hits really really hard, for a sub like that. Its even gotten great reviews in a few of the audio mags as well.
