Default Upgrading from factory tape player to factory CD player

I dont need nothing fancy and Im just looking to pick up a CD player off Ebay

Is it as simple as plugging in the existing wires?

I know this is a dumb question but how do I remove that plastic panel covering the tape player?

ok if you have a console shift, just take your fingers and pull out towards you, the trim is held on by clips, remember it goes all the way around the steering wheel

you will need a a harness adapter from best buy and a antenna adapter. You will also need a dash install kit

Yea, get a flathead screwdriver and gently pry it off. Gonna get your fingers smooshed, but dont worry it wont hurt. You will also need to put your shifter all the way down (have parkginr brake on with foot on brake, lol...dont ask) and lift it up and over the steering wheel. This is assuming u got the column shifter

Actually he won't need a wiring adapter if he'* putting a factory cd player in. It should be very simple process and take no more than 10 minutes from start to finish.
Good luck.

Yeah just a factory CD player nothing special.

I have bench seats

My moms Toyota Corolla has a factory CD player. My cars suppose to be a more upscale car and I have a tape player. Its time for me to get with the times just a little right?
