Anybody heard anything about them?
Well, I have been looking and I would like to put a couple of subs and an amp in the Suburban. To help it earn the SUB in Suburban. Not looking for anything spectacular. Just a little of bass to bounce to. Anywho, I was looking and noticed the brandname Profile. I see that they have a bunch of stuff on Crutchfield.com and etronics.com for decent prices. I was just wondering if this is a good brandname. Also, has anybody heard anything about them? Just looking for some input. Anything you know about them, I would like to know. I would appreciate it.

if you just want some decent bump w/o breaking the wallet look on cardomain often for refurbished subs. Also refurbished amps.
I had 2 MTX roadthunders in sealed boxes and one JBL 300.1 amp. pounded pretty well for spending less than 300 including wires MDF and all other materials to make boxes.
All my stuff was bought refurbished.

Profile amps are all Class A, which means they can suck a lot of juice at 2 Ohms on bass duty. Unless your Suburban has a hefty alternator you might look elsewhere at a Class D. Otherwise, Profile'* reputation is very good and with Crutchfield'* 3 year warranty I doubt you'll find a better deal for a decent new amp.
Corvettecrazy'* suggestion is doubled by me.. I got my ID10v.3'* for something like $65 apiece refurb'd, and they are great little subs... very clean and musical but they can still beat the crap out of you if that'* your cup of chamomile. I have 2 D2'* getting (ear guesstimate) 350W apiece off an MTX and it can def'ly put a hurtin on your ear drums (in a good way!)
Wiring and a decent box will cost you minimum $75-$100 pretty much anyway you cut it, so figure that into your budget before you make final equipment choices.

as for subs and an amp... sounddomain had some good deals on some MTX amps not too long ago & hifonics is always good bang for you buck.
