need an opinion
Im thinkin about gettin the crunch ground pounder GPV15D2 15 inch subs, or alpine type R'* i was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which would be the better choice. I mean ive done my research on both of the subs but im just starting to learn about all this so i would like an opinion from someone who knows where their talking about.

Alpine has certainly created a reputation for itself over the years that blows crunch out of the water, but I have to be honest, I hear more and more abou people using crunch amps especially in competition formats. I have never heard crunch subs though. Have you heard both subs? Or read reviews on either? What kind of power will you be putting to them?

Ive seen videos of the 12s and one video of the 15 and they bump pretty hard, but their only 100 dollars and these days you get what you pay for. So i was thinkin about goin with a better company than crunch,i think that the type rs will do. Do you think they could hand 1000 watts bridged at 4 ohms.

something like this? Crunch GPV 1000.2 (GPV1000.2) (gpv10002) 2-Channel Amps Car Amplifiers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix that amp shows the peak rating as 1000watts @ 4 ohms but the key number is the RMS watts. with that said if this is your amp or close to the specs its good for up to 500 watts RMS which would under power the type Rs for sure
