A few quick questions
Who here has ordered a H/O alternator for this horrible horrible addicting hobby? if so where from?
also... i have a 96 SSEi. does the backseat (the backrest part) come out to remove the speakers in the rear deck. I'm looking at starting a weekend project of removing these speakers and adding some deadening while expanding the holes a bit to compensate for the amount of air I'm going to be pushing. any help or comments would be greatly appreciated! -adam |
it might be easiest to remove the backseat and back dash, but if you take off the grills, you can take em off that way also

get a AC delco 140amp from Advance, it has a lifetime warrenty. I have more electronics than anyone on this board and I have pleanty of power
and you need to remove the back seat to get to the rear deck, or take off the speaker grills |
I just got a 200 amp off of ebay. I havent put it on yet, but ill be bench testing it soon, and ill let you know. Ive removed my back seat and choped out what i could of the rear deck and it does make a big difference.

you can remove the rear speakers w/o taking off the whole deck. You can't take off the deck w/o taking out the rear seat.

i was going to go the 2 battery route and try to get away with that. but it's most likely best if i just do it this way. |
