A few quick questions

Who here has ordered a H/O alternator for this horrible horrible addicting hobby? if so where from?

also... i have a 96 SSEi. does the backseat (the backrest part) come out to remove the speakers in the rear deck. I'm looking at starting a weekend project of removing these speakers and adding some deadening while expanding the holes a bit to compensate for the amount of air I'm going to be pushing.
any help or comments would be greatly appreciated!

it might be easiest to remove the backseat and back dash, but if you take off the grills, you can take em off that way also

get a AC delco 140amp from Advance, it has a lifetime warrenty. I have more electronics than anyone on this board and I have pleanty of power

and you need to remove the back seat to get to the rear deck, or take off the speaker grills

I just got a 200 amp off of ebay. I havent put it on yet, but ill be bench testing it soon, and ill let you know. Ive removed my back seat and choped out what i could of the rear deck and it does make a big difference.

you can remove the rear speakers w/o taking off the whole deck. You can't take off the deck w/o taking out the rear seat.

let me know.

i was going to go the 2 battery route and try to get away with that. but it's most likely best if i just do it this way.
