Default Updated audio pics of my trunk!!! (now with mp3!)

I finally got around to taking some pics of it done in there...
My amp came crashing down about a month ago from the cheap *** plastic
mounting brackets. Well now I had my buddy machine up a better design
out of aluminum! That beoch ain't going no where!!!!

Before anyone rants about heat issues....I am aware and have not had any issues.......yet
The looks outweigh that....and I like it!

This pic here show the aluminum blocks my buddy made me to hold that heavy amp TIGHT!

I still would love to try that, but with the trunk lid carpet it doesn't come up on it'* own, it just pops out of the retainer and that'* it.

Nice work! What'* between the amp and subs on the ceiling?

Thanks guys!

Are you talking about the carpeted board I made to mount my 4 channel to?
I carpeted a piece of plywood and screwed it to the under part of the decklid, then screwed the 4ch amp to it....

if not.....explain a little more for me

Ah that'* the speaker amp, got ya.

I'm entertaining ideas for a way to mount my amp. I don't like it on the sub box, over time it'* bad for the internals. However, i overheated it on the way to Bfest (hot, 9 hours of driving that day) and opening the passthrough and the rear console vents at it worked great.

Im not a fan of mounting to the box myself.....if you want to take the box out of the
trunk that turns into a big pain in the arse.

Right now....1 wire and my box is OUT!

Ya...the one under is my 4ch to the front 5 1/4 Kenwood Components...and the rear 6x9 Kewood 4ways.

the biggun is bridge mono at 740watts RMS @ 4ohms (1600 peak i think it was?) to the MTX triple 10'*.
thats a single 4ohm load box set up....

They do pound that is for sure!
but only after I took them apart and sealed them up with silcone RTV.
NOW they POUND!
There was tons of air escaping around those woofers.....

Night and Day difference....i mean NIGHT AND DAY!

You also have to have the wattage going to these.....if you don't get the
750watts RMS to them....they have a harder time sounding as good.
But I got that covered!
