Power antenna and radio equalizer
Hey all, I have had so much great luck with everything that I have posted in the past that I am going to keep my streak alive.....
The factory radio in my 96 Bonne, has an equalizer in it. I am not sure how to set the levels. there are 7 different levels that need to be set. Can someone give me some kind of idea what all of those levels mean, and maybe how to set them to get a good sound......
Also, the power antenna was not hooked up, and now I know why..... When I plugged it in, all it did was just continue to run and run and run. with the radio off or radio on. Fortunatly it is in the up position. So is there maybe a limit switch or something that should kick when it is all the way up or all the way down..... I went to a u pull it today and every bonneville I went to the antenna was already gone.....Must either be hot item or not.....
Thanks ahead of time for any information you guys can give......You have been great, and this is a very informative site.

I moved your thread to the Audio section for better visibility.
The graphic equalizer controls the range of sound for the relative levels of bass, mid range and treble. Move the left switch all the way to the top, and the other 6 to the bottom and you will have all bass. Move the right switch to the top and the other 6 to the bottom and you will have all treble. Move the center switch to the top and the other 6 to the bottom and you will have all mid range.
Play with the switches to find the setting you like best.
