Default Drivers heated seat.

2002 SSEi all stock. 70,000 miles. The other day I put on the drivers seat heater and it quite working. Was fine last time I used it. I don't have time to look at fuses etc and the car is with my wife all week. Any thoughts? The passenger seat works fine. The light goes on but in seconds it goes out. Is this thing on a breaker??? Thanks for any help, by the way great site. Been into Pontiacs all my life, always wanted an SSEi and finally got it. Wifes car so I can't touch it (yet ) so I concentrate on the '73 TA. Mark L

First suggestion would be to check the fuses..but you mention you don't have time for that.

Consider bringing it to the dealer.

the elements in the seats sometimes go bad.....what you described with the light on the switch would lead me to believe that is what you are encountering

Yeah usually if the light is on it indicates the device is getting power. Hopefully the element is not burned out.
