not charging the capacitor
Im about to fatmat my entire trunk and i need to take my subs out. But i lost my transistor that is used for charging it, what would happen if i didnt charge it an just hooked it up.

It will be ok, the resistor is to limit the current a little bit but I have hooked caps up without the resistor
BUT when you are taking everything out disconnect the cap from the battery then turn on the amp to drain as much power from the cap as possible so you don't get a nasty shock when you are unhooking wires
