I do plan to hook up a sub too, so convenient sub controls would be nice.

As for the JVC lacking Pandora support, nice catch, I'll have to look into that. I'm still leaning toward the Pioneer.

Aside for that awful design on that button on the left, I'd have to go with the Pioneer, I have had an old DEHP-8500 for years, it had a ribbon cable failure after a few years since it has a motorized face, but for 30.00 I was able to fix it myself, best 500.00 I ever invested on a head unit.

Kenwood would be my 2nd choice, they make pretty good quality merchandise, JVC is ok for the money I guess, but I do not recommend that brand.

If you have an Android/iPhone, you should look into the AppRadio2.

Amazon Amazon

That unit does look quite nice, I'd not mind having that myself to use with my i-Phone, I could install a backup camera with it, which would be nice to have.

I would personally go with the Pioneer. I've had Pioneers for years and I've never had any problems.

.

I had a fancy-schmancy HU in my Bonneville when I bought it. I took it out, sold it, and put in a Kenwood with just enough pre-amps to do what I need and a AUX/USB in.

I would go with the pioneer personally, i used to have an older pioneer cd player in my car and i upgraded to a kenwood for ipod connect but the pioneer has always been beter fOr radio and cd playback. So i plan to upgrade to the pioneer DEH-80PRS sometime in the near future.

Very nice, I like the way that one looks over all of the others, great choice!
