dash lights - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

I believe the bulbs are 194. Pat (1993 SLE) will be able to tell for sure, but I think thats them.

The color is in the dash, not the lights. You're better off with just white bulbs, unless you want a deeper red (red bulbs), orange (yellow bulbs), or purple (blue bulbs). May or may not owrk that way. It'* been a long time since my theater production classes and working light filters...

It has been done, by both me and harofreak, its a tough job but if you are interested, pm me with any questions. here is a link to my post about changing the dash lights, i used a site named autolumintation.com....they have the best light dispursing led'*....only problem is they dont fit into the bases of the existing lights so u might have to do some soldering. its actually really easy, just takes patience.
