cut out dimensions

Hey gang, I'm into box building and I am needing dimensions for cut outs. I saw a site awhile back but I can't remember the name. Any one know what the cutout is for an 8" sub. If anyone has any resources they could throw my way I would most appreicate it.

Thanks,

Tim

Which subwoofer, particularly.

Each subwoofer does have a different mounting dimension. Universal is NOT the way to go.

It is for an 8" Boss. they are older subs that the dude has had for quite some time. he has tried them and they still work fine. The subs are 7 or 8 yrs old. They were made before the Boss/American split. i don't know a whole lot about them.

Anyhow he can't find any specs on them on the net., or anywhere for that matter.
He bought them when he worked for an audio shop in the area.

Any help would be appreciated,

Tim

make a paper template around the sub. I have used two different 8" setups, and they each used a different sized cut out.

Okay. I'll have him to do it since he has the speakers in his possesion anyway.
