Default Finally put the Type-R in!

A good bud of mine was nice enough to take some time to throw the Apline Type R I used in my '99 Z28 into the trunk of the bonnie, here are a couple of quick pics. I still have to get some spray adhesive so the carpet will sit smoothly on the wood template. He wanted to use a piece of wood so we wouldnt have to drill directly into the car and it'll be easier to remove should I ever want to pull it out. The sound isnt as good as it was in the hatch of the camaro, but it still makes some pretty good noise! Here they are:

The sub definately could stand more power. The amp is rated at 350 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, and I've heard of guys pushing over 500 watts to their type R'* with no problems, but for what I'm using it for, it suits me just fine, unless someone wants to donate a bigger amp :P :P :P

Those fit pretty good and don't take up too much trunk space.
Tastefully done.

I just can't give up my very valuable trunk space for thump. I gave it up in my Jeep and always regret it whenever I need to haul a load. It'* a pain to disconnect and remove every time I need the space.

I'm running around 800 RMS to mine and it'* just begging for more so I'm planning on upgrading my amp sometime over the summer hopefully. The R is such a great sub for the price.
