to get the steering wheel controls to work with an aftermarket deck, you need a PAC SWI-X

Actually i want to make them work with a factory deck, but its so hard to find a used deck from a car with steering wheel controls, so it has the extra spot in the back of the deck for the remote plug, so im just wondering if i can hard wire the remote control into the other part of the harness and make it work that way :?:
