Default Replacement Stock Head Unit

So some of you might remember that my stock head unit busted out on me about a month ago. Since then ive been listening to just front speakers without back speakers and subs. I've finally decided just to replace the stock head unit. I have a 2001 se, and the replacement I want to buy is for a 2003 se and doesn't have the tape player. Will it still be a direct replacement? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
