Resistance of stock Front Components???
I know I just pulled out the rear speakers and it sounds much better, am not a huge fan of rear fill anyway.
these speakers were 10ohm as most stock speakers I have seen are 8ohm and 10ohm.
I really need to know how the standard (non premium) component system works.
Such as crossovers????
Would I be able to put a 4ohm coax where the midrange is and a high quality in the tweeter location?????
I was worried about messing up the load which cant drop below 4ohms on my head unit.
Will I be OK??? What have you done as far as speakers are concerned and stock wiring?

the Front 5.25 on my Bonne with Perfromence Sound were 10 ohm. Im not sure what the tweets are but i would have to guess the same.
THe component system uses a bass block on the tweeter to only send the high ranges to the speaker. the bass block is installed into the tweeter. There is no 'Crossover" per say. There are 2 connections in the door. One for the 5.25 and one for the tweeter, you can pulg the tweeter in both of the plugs and get the same sound.
I have a 4 ohm 5.25 2 way speaker in there right now and it is clearer and louder with less distortion than the stock.
I am planning on getting a component set and placing the tweeter in the factory location along with the new 5.25 and then getting another set of tweets and using the other set on wires puttin a crossover on that and installing a tweeter up higher on the door panel
