one of my Type R 12"* is destroyed. i need some suggestions for a sub that is at least equal to, if not not better performing. has to be round, has to be 12"...

How did you manage to pop a Type R!!

lol anyway I would go with a Rockford T1 12" or higher depending on your amp rms and channel output per ohms

Memphis subs are good but couldn't handle the power from an amp that blew a Type R 12"
go with a Kicker or HiFonics 12"

went with a kicker cvr12. they pound pretty good with 900 watts RMS

Well dang round. I was ganna say get a kicker l5. I have one and i can flex my windshield and doors.
