Default ECC temp light blinking

Since I got my new receiver my Climate Control light is blinking like the radio clock is not set for the first few minutes whenever I turn on the car. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need a code reader of some sort. I you were pre-94, you'd be able to do it following a procedure in Techinfo. No suck luck for after that. I'm not sure what kind of scanner it needs, OBDII maybe? I don't know if they read HVAC codes.
