Baffles... should i?

whats the purpose?

are they going to protect my speakers from my subs?

i dont care if my speakers wont hit, i have tow 12 inch subs for that.

Funny, i was just thinking of this again yesterday. They'd seal off the 6x9's from the subs in theory, and everything should be much cleaner sounding.

exactly, i think im gonna order them from crutchfield. there is a place out here that sells them but he wont give them to me becuase he said it makes it sound like crap. i dont think he understands i dont want bass from them

I'd go with the hard plastic ones if it were me. Have you guys heard the rear 6x9's on the 87-91 H-Bodies? those speakers put out a LOT of bass and they were in boxes. Makes me think that maybe the baffles might give similar response if they're the hard plastic ones? Just an idea, I don't know if it would really help or not..
