Default Awesome, got pulled over by a cop for Neons!!!

I got pulled over by a cop for the neons in my hood. You know what he told me? He said right on! He had me show him how I hooked them up. Improves visibility for other cars. Kinda like having the 3rd tailight. Rock on, this was a great idea smellbird.

Good to hear! I'm still considering doing that (probably just white to be safe) when I do the light up Pontiac in the spring.

Nice compliment. What color are your neons by the way.

Mine are red, neon red to be exact. They do not look like smellbirds as they are in line with the grill. They looks like lines across the hood of my car.

They really can't hassle you for neons in the grill, as Mercury used to have the lit up front end. The color, on the other hand, could potentially be an issue.

I'm kinda suprised that red didn't get you into trouble, but it'* a good suprise! I would think red and/or blue would be the no-no colors! Yellow or white should be 100% legal on the front end, as long as they don't project, only glow. I know Texas has laws regarding how many Headlights, aka projector lights, you can have on the front.

Thats why Im surprised as well. I know in Illinois you can only have your headlights & fog/driving lights. Cant have any other lighting on your front unless it came factory that way. I got a written warning when I had the washer LED'* on my old Accord.

For washer LED'*? For cryin' out loud, that'* getting picky!

But that'* the morons of the world, taking stuff to the extreme and/or beytond, and messing it up for everyone else. Forces the authorities to have to do stuff like that.
