Man, you came to the right place. You do it all, and we'll learn from you! Kidding. Welcome to the Bonneville Club!

The audio stuff is better left to some of the guys here. I'm too old to have enough hearing left to know quality when I hear it. Fogs? Change them to angel eyes, Blazertechs, or Cyber-white Navigators. Change your headlights to Silver Stars.

The alarm could get tricky. That funny little gizmo in your key is the VATS system.....just make sure your install doesn't mess with that, and you'll be ok.

Leather seats should be fairly simple......but I'm hoping you have the console shifter, not column shifter. If it'* console, you can go to a wrecker and get the seats or seat covers from an SSE or SSEi. If it'* a column shifter, it'* gonna be trickier, but we recently saw an SE with that setup in leather, so it'* not unheard of.

I'll let you settle in.....ask some questions.......but just remember. Your car is already the fastest color Don't go ruining that by painting it red or something.

(now watch the color wars!)

For the stereo check out nexxon.com ikesound.com and thezeb.com. I would never go with kicker because they are all over priced, however if u do go with kicker, only buy the L5s or L7s, every other speaker kicker makes lacks in the quaility department

Boy...did you ever come to the right place. Take some time looking around - you will get amazing ideas and contacts for that hard to find stuff.

I havent been here long - but this has quickly become my fav site for all things Bonneville.

Hang around BC for a while - you will end up having the best looking and sounding Bonne in your neck of the woods!

Welcome to BC!

Welcome, we can't answer all the questions in one thread but they'll try. Definetly get what you like, speakers are peronsal preference.

Oh, an wren, don't make me post the color chart with purple being the fastest.

Another Chicagoland member, great. First of all , do you have stereo audio controls, if so, and you want to keep them, you are restricted to Pioneer and Alpine in terms of HU'*. The speakers are always personal preference. For subs, I personally like ecplise. If you have any questions let me know as I am relatively close to you (Buffalo Grove). Post on the Midwest forum for some more local members. (I think Almachtige is close to you).

Hey I just sold 2 12" KICKER IMPULSE (bottom of the line) that were 5 years old, and they still slam better than most 12"* I have heard. And I definitly blasted the crap out of them all the time! But I can say the L7s are the way to go, I have heard one of their 10"*, and it hit as hard as 2 12"*! But definitly talk to your friend, as he sounds like a co0l guy, and he will point you in the right direction.
