Python 1400XP for 199 installed at Circuit City......
Figured I'd share this info incase anyone'* interested.
It'* a remote start/keyless entry system with built-in VAT bypass(saves you from buying one)..... from what I've read, it'* supposed to be a solid setup.
The install seems to have went well. Tested remote start settings and all seems well. Not 100 percent sure they hooked up the anti-grind, but all the other failsafes seem to work. The installer mentioned to be careful when disconnecting/reconnecting the battery without turning off the remote start via an installed override toggle switch under the dash. If left on, there'* the chance of the car starting when power is reconnected. We tested it today and sure enough, as soon as the battery was reconnected, the car cranked!
I had them hook up the horn beep and wire the trunk pop for the aux button. One of these two options required an additional 10 dollar relay(I think it was horn beep). Rear defrost can also be wired per the manual, but I'm not sure if they did that or not(forgot to specify it to the installers) :?
So far, so good.... me likey! And did I mention lifetime warranty?
