dont go in with high expectations and you will be alright. I guess

hell most people have one sub that costs more than that whole setup..

you pay for what ya get.. and for 169 bucks your not going to get much..

i know...but i am cheap, and compared to what i have now that would be pretty good. i read all the reviews, and they say it is an ok set up. i am going to talk to my parents and see what they think.

Dont forget you need RCA's and a amp kit. Those will run you another $50-$100.

already got rca, power, remote turn on, and in line fuse from my crappy set up now. i used either 12 or 14 guage wire (power)...(might need better guage for that amp)..the rca's are fine and so is the remote turn on. all i would need is some good guage wire for power.

yea if i was you I would wait, save and get a good set of subs. that is 400 RMS, that is not alot, and the ported box will not hit deep.

try Ebay and look at the Rockford Power Series they are offered in P1, P2, and P3. the P1 or 2 are good for the economical shopper

i will try to make this simple and to the point...i am cheap, and cant afford the expensive good stuff. i am not looking for something that will blow my eardrums. i just want some bass that will rattle the car a little. thats all. :D

that setup looks good and there are some good reviews

but

I herd these in the store and could not believe that they were 10's

Lowrider0308 12-18-2004 01:08 AM

i looked at those, but i dont know...never really heard anything good about dual...but, havent about my link either lol.

1993 SLE 12-18-2004 01:18 AM

yes but the dual's are able to handle more power. they can handle 600 RMS as apposed to the 400 RMS of the other subs
