Default GXP Monsoon Stock Amp

Well, the car is going into the shop tommorow to replace the foglight and a speaker that they think is blown (I know its not) Anyways my 2 front door panel speakers are not working and my 2 6X9'* in the back are not either. Are all speakers in the GXP (8 of them) all hooked up to the stock monsoon amp? Or is the 4 speakers I listed the only ones?

I am thinking something is wrong with a channel either through the amp or the headunit.

This is from a earlier problem I had with hooking up my Amp and subs to the stock radio.

the monsoon system does not have a amp that is built into the Headunit, therefore the Monsoon amp is what powers the speakers

Why would I have the tweeters and the back door speakers working and nothing else?

This seems interesting. Each speaker has its own output from the Monsoon amp (which differs compared to the non-Monsoon system where the front door tweeters are connected in parallel to the other front door midrange speakers).

In each case, Monsoon or not, there are only four outputs from the HU (LF. RF, LR, RR). The amp obviously derives the signal for all eight speakers from these four outputs. Without actual schematics of the amp and HU, my best guess would be that your amp is possibly defective.

Without seeing exactly what you were working on I can't say for sure. I do remember our messages back on forth while you were working on it. I'd definitely double check all your connections. Did you end up taking it out and returning everything to a stock configuration?

Which wires did you tap into for signal for the Line output adapter (which speakers) ?

So... a little update. They replaced the speaker and guess what still doesn't work. Now they are replacing the amp what I suggested to do first. We shall see if this works out.
