Adding a Trip Computer to my bonneville

I want to add a trip computer like the ones found in the 1990 Grand Prix Turbos. I have no idea how to do this, but I think it will work. What do you think? As far as mounting goes, I am thinking about tearing out the gain control and cutting a hole there for it. Below is a pic of the Trip I want to put in. Any guidance or tutorials you could offer on this would be much appreciated.

ok so onone has done this kind of installation....what you will need to do is get the wiring schematics of the donor car and the FSM for your SSEi. you Will have ALOT of wires to connect and research where they go. It wont be the easiest project you have ever done

i do have one out of a 90 GP SE in the yard that i told you i can grab for ya

Alright.

Well I assume the 1990 grand prix SE service manual will have the wiring diagrams in them correct?
