Default How Big is your Bump?

and by bump... i mean ALL aspects of your sound system

Im currently Running

kenwood Excelon x659 cd/mp3 player (I can manage to get all my mp3'* on about 28 disks.... im considering getting a kenwood jukebox, but @ around 500 bux for a 20 gigger (i have like 22 gig of mp3'* ) my pocketbook will be preventing that for a while.

Kenwoon 6x9'* in the back -- they are pretty good..... sound a lot better than stock
Kenwood Excelon 800watt amp -- I forget the model number... but it bumps pretty good
(2)MTX Thunder 4000 12" Subs in a bandpass box (takes up about 1/2 my trunk)

i'd really love to upgrade the subs, ill prolly get a really nice 12-15" one to save space in my trunk, but alas.... my pocket book is still quite empty....

what about you? hows your system rock the block?

Mine is under construction at this point.

As it stands now: 52x4 Sony XPLOD CDX 300L with 2 Kenwood 4X6 in the front and stock 6x9'* in the back

I want some of Hectors' Powerbase 6x9'* for the backs and 2 people want to "give" me subwoofers. One guy has a Sunfire coupe with no room for the sub...bwa hahah the Bonneville does!!!!.

Once I know the specs etc, I probably do it. There is a sequence of work that has to be done still, so I might pick up the parts and install when ready.

i currently don't have a system but I'll list some previous systems:
pioneer 8200 cd with oel display, 4 volt outputs
3 10" mtx blue thunder 10"* powered by a mtx 2400x (750 watts)
2 rockford fosgate hx2'* 12"* powered by a mtx 2400x (750 watts)
1 alpine type R 12" powered by a xtant 3300x ($1000 amp)
i also ran boston acoustics rm9s off the xtant (3 channel)

now I have a factory 7 band eq cd player and blown out factory speaks
what a downgrade!

o ya I also had 2 xtant 12" x series, 2 ohms - very accurate, nice sq

My buick came with concert sound 2 package and i was able to fit 6.25 in the stock door locatoins.

Stereo:
Clarion dxz615 cd player in dash
Pioneer XM Radio mounted in between the center courtosy lights.

diamond audio m3'* 6.25" doors
Diamond audio m3'* 6x9'* rear deck
TWO Mempis Studio Amp st-100'* powering the componets and the 6x9'* sepeartly

Two Diamond Audio M3 10 inch Subs Invereted in custom boxes
Memphis Studio Amp st-300 powering the subs at 300 watts per sub.

Like to do more but cash is an issue when your in college. So for it has taken me almost 3 years to build the system piece by piece during my summers with any extra cash that i might have made.
pics are on cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/id/94lesabregt

Hey Zeke,
How'd you like the RF HX2'*. I just got a pair to go with a Clarion 1000 watter, but I haven't built a box for them yet, any suggestions?

Other than those I have a 5 channel Alpine V12 sitting around, a pair of torn up RF 10'* in a bandpass (that Clarion helped with the tearing), a RF fanatic X 4.25 separates and a Sony flip down CD. Most of it removed from the Nissan mention below last month :(. Unfortunately, I lost the 6.5 inch RF'* i was going to use as a custom 3-way front set up, too....
