Left dash speaker on88 bonne
Si i just got 2 polk dxi 460 p speakers an d was installing them last night when i realized that my left one is too deep to fit. The bow that holds my gauges sticks about 2 in into the speaker slot. Anyideas on how to make it fit? Could i just cut
The box or raise them up.

is it possible to use washers to raise the speaker up to clear the gauge cluster and still replace speaker grill? if not, using a dremel to remove some plastic from the gauge "box" should be fine, just be careful of any wires, or gauge mechanisms

Wow you guys sound like a couple of beggers gonna scare him off
Yes im with tommy i would try to find some shallower speakers as you dont want them sticking up two inches IMO it will look weird and you realllyyy DONT want to cut into the back side of the guage housing.
