not too shabby.....the only thing that i would have done is made the speaker grill recessed into the door so it didnt stick out...that would have taken lots more work to get it right...
I like it tho.....how is it sound?? :P

It rattles a little bit but thats expected when you replace a factory speaker with one that can take 100 Watts RMS all day long
As far as recessed, I kinda like it with the grill on top. Recessed would have taken allot of work like you mentioned but I think it came out pretty much how I expected. Its pretty decent.

I would've glassed it, not that difficult, I kinda enjoy it. But to each their own, eh? It doesn't look bad and I bet it sounds great (what kind of speakers are they, btw?)

a couple notes:
you need to work on those soldering skills. They could look soo much nicer.
what do you mean 6.5"ers cant be mounted behind the stock grill??
but it looks pretty good.

I have the matching 6x9'* in the rear
As far as the soldering skills, it was a little hard to do. I had trouble holding eveything while trying to solder. If I did it on my kitchen table (Impossible) or had an extra pair of hands, It probably would have come out allot better. Its covered with tape now so its hidden
As far as behind the stock grills, it can be done, but if its on the panel where the speaker originally mounts to then glass would have to be used, if its on the door behind the panel, then the door panel needs to be modified to hold it.
The passenger door is next. I just want to get it done because then the Sub and Sub amp goes in
