Default Best CD Player??

Hey people.
Just want to get everyone'* thoughts on what aftermarket stereo would be best for my 93 SSEi. I would like for the steering wheel controls to work with it. I've heard that its hard to hook up.
What brand/model are in your Bonneville'*?

Thanks

What kind of features do you want? There is no "best" of anything in audio. You find something that has the features/price you want, then find what is easiest for you to use.

EVERY deck will need an adapter for controls to work, and the deck needs a remote control.

Im just looking for something other than the crap Delco one that came with the car.
Something cheap, nothing too fancy.
I was looking at the Pioneer DEH-P47DH.
Where can I get this adapter for the steering controls?

the adapter you are looking for is called a swix-pac. (you have to have a headunit with a remote for this to work.) it takes the remote control signal, memorizes it, then when you push your steering wheel buttons it sends the signal to your headunit via infared signal. just do a search on yahoo or dogpile and you will find many stores that carry it.

i've had an Aiwa CD unit...a panasonic MP3 unit...pioneer cd unit..and i now have a JVC mp3 unit...all were good but varied as far as functions and ease of use.....you'd have to look around...check out a local store and just play around with them...

I have the Pioneer system you refered to. Got it for 174.00 at Harmony.com. Made to fit the dash, has good sound and puts out a lot of bass. In my opion, for the price you can't go wrong.
