Default 5-1/4 component install help..

Bought some Hifonics Atlas 5-1/4" Compnents. The tweeters didn't come with any mounting hardware. If anyone has anything like that laying around I would like to buy it. Also I installed the woofer but it looks way to deep for it to install back on the door, there is also a 1/8" gap between the woofer and the door panel. Should I match the hole to the woofer and the install the grille that came with the woofer? I hope I described everything well. Let me know your guys opinions, I would appreciate it.

Did you buy the speakers new or out of the box? All component tweeters originally come with something to mount it with. You don't have to match the speaker to the door panel although its a really good idea. Unless you are going for a stock look I would cut the door panel out to match (if you have to) and put the grilles on. It can sound better if you used the aftermarket grille because it doesnt cover as much of the speaker.

I bought the speakers new, but for some reason they didn't come with those brackets. So I will just cut the hole to match the woofer. Thanks phoenix_flame220
