'96 SE + Polk MoMo MMC 690 = WOW
Not sure if anyone else has a set of these, but OMG! I should start by saying my 96 SE is not pretty and serves as my winter beater so I try not to put too much money into it. I got this pair of speakers as a discontinued last pair special on Crutchfield for $59. I have an upgraded head unit, at least better than stock, in a Pioneer 50w single disc CD player. Nothing too special. Also, I have yet to find a good enough deal to change from front door speakers on the Bonne, so the only new ones are the ones in the back.
It should be noted that the speakers fit the rear deck with zero modification, they dropped right in. I do not think I can say wow enough. My spring summer car is an 07 Mustang GT with the upgraded 500 stereo in it. I'd swear these two speakers alone are better than all 6 or 8 in my stang. Incredible bass, and all around clarity of sound.
Anyone have any luck with these as well. Also, anyone have any suggestions on a cost effective pair of front door speakers with an easy install? I'd like to spend < $100 for the pair of front door speakers. I guess this thread is mainly to sing the praises of the MoMo'* though, like WOW.

Polk sounds awesome I agree! As for the door speakers, I have a pair of Sony 5.25 in mine and the clarity is awesome! I think they would be a cost effective add on to your audio setup. I have a pair of Legacy 600w 6x9s paired to mine and the response is just outstanding! As for the install, the front speakers are pretty easy to install yourself. I do all my own setups and this setup is by far the easiest I have done in a long time.

Thanks for the input. I will have to check out the Sony speakers. I am a bit concerned about taking the doors apart though. You think 5.25'* will fit without any modification? With only one oval grille in the door, Crutchfield says I want 4X6'* or else 4'* with an adapter plate. I looked at Blapunkt with the 5.25 woofer for in the door, and the separate tweeter piece that I could knock out the round business card holder and shove it in there.
