Default aftermarket HU

i know this had probably been posted too many times but here it goes..... I have an Alpine HU I bought and want to put it in, but I don't want to lose my steering wheel controls. My alpine doesnt have a remote so is there anything I can do?

your Alpine has to have a Remote for a PAC SWI-X to work...

the PAC takes the signal from the steering wheel controls and converts it into Signal that is transmitted thru the remote input

Its an Alpine CDE-9852, and no there wasnt a remote option

then the Steering wheel controlls are not an option, sorry. you need the remote as i said earlier for the PAC to work

The Alpine was from my jeep that I got rid of I should say, looks like its gonna have a new home on ebay What HU would you recommend?

I love my alpine 9856

btw-this unit has a remote input so there will be a pac unit for it
