Default More power out of amp?

I was wondering if anyone knows how i can get more power out of my amp. I have 2 10" Rockford HE2'*...i also have a Rockford 351M mono amp. For some reason my system sounded louder with my 2 sony explodes with a jensen 500W amp....I was wondering if anyone knows how i can get more outta it?

Well how do you have the amp setup. I normally bridge the amp and run the subs in parallel.

there is only a + and - on the amp....also i think i hooked it up how the book saids to do it...but the picture in the book is different than how the subs look when you have it....

i woudl put a pic of hte book and how i wired it but i cant figure out how to put a picture in this thing[/img]

First thing is to make sure you have the pics on the web ( i.e. a server, or cardomain )

right click on the pics then.. go to properties.. highlight alll the url addy.. right click again to copy or ctrl c.. then to post it ..

[img] the url that you copied goes here ( ctrl v ) [/img] just make sure there'* no spaces.. I just did it that way to make it easier to see.

Parallel.. is 2 wires runin to each sub one for (+) and (-) from the amp.. so 4 wires all together

Series is 2 wires coming out of the sub..(+) going to one speaker and a jumper wire from that speaker'* (-) to the (+) of the other speaker.. then a wire from the amps (-) to the ground on the second speaker

here is the pic of the wiring in the book....the subs again are Rockford HE2'* with a Rockford 351M amp....here is where hte pic is at...i wired it the 2nd one down from the top on the right column

Are the subs 2 ohm or 4 ohm.

they are dual 4 ohm voice coils
