I'm interested in why you guys say swtich power. Ground is usually the better item to switch in an auto. The reason behind this is wherever you run a ground through the body etc, if it rubs and grounds out. Then your items stays on and you locate the issue. If a power wire rubs bare, you pop fuses and in this case would be left w/o brake lights entirely if not fused seperately.
