WOW... congratz Taylor.... awesome setup you have btw.

Were there any other Bonnies at the competition?

TaylorD 08-19-2003 11:36 AM

Thanks a lot guys, I was really suprised I won, I know that my install looks great but didn't think it was the best sounding.

I was the only Bonneville, there were 81 cars and 14 in my class.
I took some pictures of the plaques in my trunk and one with me holding them, film will be developed next week when I get back from vacation.

Congratulations. I'm not a monster stereo fan myself, but I do have respect for anyone that can install a nice clean system like that. (Just don't drive through my neighbourhood at night with it cranked, okay?)

Outstanding! Cograts man. It's nice to see a fellow SQer in this world of bass that sounds like whales humping.

mremer 08-29-2003 01:53 PM

Congrats! NICE INSTALL!!

I noticed the CAI, I have a Thrasher kit installed in my SE same relocation hardware. I used a couple of pieces of lexan and cut to fit to close that front gap on the cold air box. Worked pretty well. Have a new Pioneer Premier DEH-750MP installed next week, running 1 Memphis 12" Sub, HiFonics American Warrior Amp, Xm, etc., blah blah. Regardless, contradulations!

Nice clean install I love systems that stay hidden until you hear em.

TaylorD 09-02-2003 12:56 PM

Thanks guys, dropped off last roll of film today, will have pictures of me and my 1st place plaques coming tomarrow night hopefully.

SQ is where it's atHaywood, quality sound reproduction is so much better than just THUMP THUMP, who wants to hear loud, distorted tunes. You know those people tell everyone that it sounds so good too.

Haywood 09-02-2003 05:31 PM

TaylorD, hopefully we can spread a little of the SQ gospel. It's so fun to see the look on somebodies face when they just heard a tune at concert levels and noticed something other than Booooooom, slap, boom.
